Day 61 - May 9

Another road ride in the hills with intervals. Same as last week.

These efforts don't carry the same nerves they once did.

“I did it before, and I’ll do it again.”

That minute of effort looked different from what I thought I knew back on Day 33. Each minute felt like the longest minute and the shortest minute at the same time. #2 and #4 stood out to me as my stronger sprints. For those two I spent the couple of minutes beforehand calming myself with deep breaths.

It was a reminder that preparation is just as important as the effort itself.
