Day 32 - April 10
One day closer to the weekend. Fuel for the gym was a smoothie with a scoop of protein, banana, peanut butter, chocolate muesli, oats, and milk.
The main lift was the single leg press - 160kg. Last week’s 150kg was a new high for me, and so was today. Good nutrition, recovery, and a focused training environment are helping me reach new ceilings week over week.
After lunch I took a longer break than usual before starting my torque session on the LeMond. It was nearly an hour later than planned.
There’s no rush.
Once I felt physically and mentally prepared, I did the work and improved on my max cadence compared to last week.
Quality of effort matters more than quantity or pace.
Where in your pursuit are you rushing through something that would benefit from more patience?
