Day 30 - April 8

Monday and Tuesday’s work made room for a proper coffee ride today.
I admit I didn’t do a good job recovering after though. The weather was just too beautiful to stay inside after the ride and I stayed on my feet longer than my legs needed.

The BMX athletes had their session later than usual, so it gave me an opportunity to watch and practice some photography. Watching them soar and maneuver was genuinely impressive.

One of my favorite things about being at the center is seeing faces from around the world, gathered here for the same reason. The bike and race discipline might look different, but we’re all crazy about cycling.

Being surrounded by people who have made similar sacrifices and are going through similar challenges lets me be fully myself.
