Day 56 - May 4
Week 19.
It’s a new week, I’m optimistic, and my legs feel snappy. However, I look forward to reporting on my exhaustion at the end of the week.
The afternoon track session included moto chases. Despite feeling ready, my sprint efforts felt sluggish. The cold air might have been a factor, or maybe my best today just looked different.
I almost spiraled into self-criticism, but I checked the lap times from the footage and they were consistent with last week’s chase session.
Today was a reminder that my best effort will change day to day. It's helpful to have objective measures to remove doubts when they arise.
