Day 12 - March 21
Our coffee road ride today was just over an hour and a half in the saddle. A couple of BMX riders and one of the mechanics joined for the ride, making us eight on the road. The company made the ride feel half as long.
My goals for the ride were to keep my cadence high and to have fun. Both were achieved.
Even after all the work this week, my legs felt as snappy as ever.
This was the first full week of training. Over four hard days and two recovery rides, I at least doubled the training load of a typical week at home.
Week one is done. The bar has been set.
