Day 10 - March 19
I woke up ready to test yesterday’s adjustments.
Last evening I adjusted my stem height and saddle position on the track bike to get more aero.
I had my most confident spin on the rollers during the morning activation. On the track, my handling in the turns improved, and the saddle allowed my legs to drive quickly without the hopping I’d felt before.
Over six sprints in the afternoon track session, each effort improved over the last.
When component changes are measured in millimeters, I’m reminded that body awareness is the most important instrument.
As much as I’d like to brute force my way into that aero position, things will happen a millimeter at a time.
Where in your pursuit are you trying to force an adaptation that needs more time?
